Charter Senior Living, a nationally recognized owner-operator and manager of senior living communities, today announced the addition of a 140-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. This expands the company’s presence in Southeast and further strengthens its relationship with LTC Properties, Inc. (NYSE: LTC), a real estate investment trust (REIT) investing in seniors housing and health care properties.
As part of the transition, the community has rebranded to Charter Senior Living at Terra Bella and will bring Charter’s culture, career opportunities, signature approach to personalized care and programming to the Land O’ Lakes community.
Charter and LTC established their partnership in 2025 with two senior living communities in Kentucky, and the addition of this community reflects the organizations’ shared commitment to strategic growth and delivering high-quality senior living.
“We’re excited to welcome Charter Senior Living at Terra Bella to the Charter family and continue building on our relationship with LTC,” said Keven J. Bennema, co-founder and CEO of Charter Senior Living. “Growth is most meaningful when it brings together the right people, the right partners and a shared commitment to doing what is best for residents. This is a strong community with a dedicated team, and we see tremendous opportunity to build on that foundation while bringing Charter’s culture and mission to residents and families throughout the area.”
Charter’s relationship with LTC reflects the company’s broader strategy of aligning with partners that share its long-term vision for senior living. Together, the organizations are focused on creating sustainable growth while investing in communities, supporting team members and enhancing the resident experience.
The addition of Charter Senior Living at Terra Bella brings Charter’s portfolio to nearly 75 senior living communities across the country.
