Kandice Alcorn, Charter’s Senior Vice President of Health and Wellness, has been inducted into the Hall of Honor in the McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards, a joint program of McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Home Care. The program, in its eighth year, recognizes women who have made a significant impact on their organization or in the industry. Hall of Honor inductees are senior-level professionals in the C-suite or at a level equivalent to vice president or higher. We are delighted for Kandice and deeply grateful for the many talents she brings — not only to Charter Senior Living and the residents and families we serve, but also for the leadership she provides across the entire senior living industry.
“I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a McKnight’s Women of Distinction honoree,” shared Alcorn. “Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for seniors — a population that deserves not only clinical excellence, but compassion, dignity, and unwavering advocacy. This recognition reflects the dedication of the many colleagues and mentors who share in this mission. I am sincerely grateful to McKnight’s for this meaningful acknowledgment, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of the remarkable honorees. It is an honor to serve older adults and to champion the quality of care they so richly deserve.”
Nominations were judged by an external panel of industry experts. All winners will be honored at an in-person celebration on May 4 in Chicago. Congratulations, Kandice!
